I’m Eli Glisson, a proud Lowcountry native, born and raised in Beaufort. I grew up fishing everything from small whiting, redfish, baby sharks and anything we could catch as kids but at 17 years old, I landed my first shark over five feet long — and I was absolutely hooked.

Since then, I’ve spent over a decade perfecting my skills in land-based shark fishing world to give you the ultimate experience in the Lowcountry! Catching and releasing 1000s of sharks and constantly chasing bigger fish along our coast. From my first 5-foot blacktip to sharks over 12 feet and 1,000 pounds, this is more than just fishing — it’s a way of life.

Even now, when I hear the scream of the reel’s clicker in the dead of night, my heart pounds with excitement. That sound means the top predator in the ocean is on the line. Will it be a 7-foot lemon shark… or a prehistoric monster?

But this isn’t just about the fight — it’s about respecting these incredible creatures. Every shark is caught and released safely, properly, and ethically — for the safety of both angler and fish.
